Frequently Asked Questions

How do I choose the right harness size for my dachshund?

Choose this harness by your dog's chest measurement, taken around the widest part just behind the front legs. Compare that measurement with the size chart rather than choosing by weight or breed label. If your dog falls between sizes, size up and adjust the straps.

Can I adjust both the neck and chest fit?

Yes, this floral dog harness has adjustable neck and chest straps. Once fitted, you should be able to slide two fingers underneath comfortably, with the harness sitting straight rather than twisting or riding toward the neck.

Is this harness intended for puppies as well as dachshunds?

Yes, this adjustable harness is designed with dachshunds, puppies, and small dogs in mind. Select the size using your dog's chest measurement and check the adjusted fit before walking.

How should I clean the floral harness?

Hand wash this harness in warm or cold water with a little detergent, rinse, and hang dry. Avoid hot water and hand soaps; machine washing is not recommended.
