Frequently Asked Questions

How do I set up the solar lantern?

Turn the solar lantern's switch on, then place or hang it in direct sunlight with the solar panel facing upward. Aim for six hours of sunlight for best results; the photosensor turns the light on when it gets dark enough.

Can I use this lantern on a patio table instead of hanging it?

Yes, this solar lantern can sit on a tabletop or another flat surface as well as hang outdoors. Choose a position where its solar panel receives direct sunlight.

Can the lantern stay outside through winter?

Yes, this lantern is rated for year-round outdoor use. Outdoor exposure causes normal wear over time, and taking it down during snowy or icy weather can reduce exposure.
