Synthetic Sharpening Stone for Knives and Woodworking Tools, 210 x 70 x 10 mm, Splash-and-Go Design
This synthetic sharpening stone makes knife and woodworking tool sharpening straightforward: wet the surface and begin. Its fast-cutting abrasive and responsive feel provide feedback as you work, while the 210 x 70 mm footprint accommodates a variety of sharpening tasks.
Shapton Rock Star stones are made in Japan and measure 10 mm thick without a glass backing plate. The range includes ten individual grit variants from 320 to 16000. Grits 320 through 10000 use white alumina; the 16000-grit stone uses calcined alumina.
For a softer feel, an optional five-minute soak lets the stone absorb more water before use. The stones also work with the Shapton Stone Holder, Sharpening Pond and Diamond Lapping Plate.
