This wooden page notebook brings the texture and grain of Japanese red pine to everyday writing and pencil sketching. Its 100 blank pages leave room for words and drawings without printed lines, while the A6 format keeps the writing surface compact.

Shiki bun uses thinly shaved and dried wood known as Kyogi for the pages of this softcover notebook. Try a pencil or ballpoint pen for writing, or colored pencils for sketches that let the wood grain remain part of the drawing.

Ink can bleed or transfer on the wooden pages. Humidity may cause the wood to warp, and its color may change as it ages.
